With as little as 50cm projection distance, these projectors can produce a large 2m wide image, making them ideal for school classrooms, meeting rooms, and exhibition booths where space is at a premium.
Ultra short throw projector require specific projection surfaces to perform at their best. Suitable options include tab-tensioned motorised screens, fixed frame screens, non-glare whiteboards, or perfectly flat walls. The surface must be tensioned and completely flat, as even minor imperfections can cause visible distortion due to the ultra-wide lens design. Only specific tab-tensioned motorised screens are compatible with Ultra short throw projector.
Most Ultra short throw projector support screen sizes between 60" and 120", while selected models can extend up to 170" diagonally. Some models also feature edge blending capabilities, allowing two projectors to seamlessly combine into a larger image. For even larger or more flexible setups, short throw projectors may be a suitable alternative.
Many Ultra short throw projector models offer optional interactive functionality, supporting pen or finger touch for enhanced engagement in classrooms and presentations. Wireless projection is also commonly available via optional dongles, enabling easy sharing of images, documents, and videos without cables.
