Security Protocols:
- Transactions on our platform are fortified with 256-bit SSL Encryption to ensure the highest level of data security.
- We adhere to PCI compliance standards, undergoing independent audits quarterly to maintain stringent security protocols. Our hosting services are recognized by Visa and Mastercard as compliant with PCI standards.
- Our infrastructure is built on SAS 70 Type II certified servers, incorporating advanced security measures, including hacker-deterrent security provisions, tri-redundant network architectures, and state-of-the-art hardware firewalls.
Payment Methods:
- Credit and Debit Cards: Acceptance of American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and payments through PayPal without imposition of surcharges. Payment processing is conducted securely via Shopify Payment Gateway, or PayPal. We affirm that we do not retain any credit card information post-transaction.
- Direct Bank Transfer: Instructions for bank deposits will be provided upon checkout and sent via email to confirm transaction details.
- Cheques and Money Orders: Should be made payable to My Projectors and directed to the nearest office location as detailed on our contact page.
- Credit Accounts: Available to educational institutions, government bodies, corporate entities, and select businesses upon request and qualification. For further details, please reach out via our contact form.
Terms and Conditions
Payment Compliance:
- Payment for purchased items is required within seven (7) days from the date of purchase.
- Credit card transactions are processed by Shopify Payment or PayPal, ensuring no retention of card details post-transaction.
- Ownership of the goods remains with My Projectors until complete payment is received.
- All sales are final and binding. We do not accommodate requests for price adjustments after a purchase has been completed.
- Orders cancelled prior to dispatch, but after payment has been processed, will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the purchase price.
Shipping and Warranty
Shipping Policy:
- Goods must be adequately packaged to mitigate the risk of damage during transit. In the event of receiving a damaged item, notification must be provided within three (3) days, with a return to be initiated within five (5) days in original packaging.
- All products sold are accompanied by an Australian manufacturer's warranty, the duration of which is specified within the product listing. Warranty claims may be directed either through us or directly to the manufacturer for expedited service.
Warranty Exclusions:
- The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, unauthorized alterations, or non-compliance with provided instructions.
- No refunds will be issued for change of mind or incorrect selection by the purchaser. The cost associated with the return of goods shall be borne by the purchaser.
- Returns of new items (excluding projector screens) are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be initiated within 5 days of receipt. Returned items must be unopened, in their original packaging, and in pristine condition. Returns that do not comply with these criteria may be rejected.
- Projector screens are subject to distinct restocking fees: a 40% fee applies if the item's packaging has been opened or its seal is broken. For unopened screen returns or order cancellations, a 20% restocking fee, plus applicable freight charges, will be applied. Exchanges involving unopened products are subject to a 10% restocking fee, in addition to freight charges.
Legal Disclaimer:
- My Projectors reserves the right to request credit card verification from buyers. Items remain the property of My Projectors until full payment is secured.
- My Projectors offers only basic sales advice, and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify that any item bought is compatible with their existing setup. We accept no liability for compatibility disputes. Opened projectors returned with less than 5 hours of lamp use will incur a 40% restocking fee. We also reserve the discretion to refuse returns.
- During the warranty period, items returned and found to be without fault will attract an $85 inspection and processing charge. The responsibility for return shipping costs rests with the purchaser.
- Despite our diligent efforts to provide accurate information and visuals, My Projectors is not liable for any inaccuracies or errors in product descriptions or images.
Intellectual Property
All content generated through our chat feature, including messages, responses, and interactions ("Chat Content"), is the intellectual property of My Projector. By using the chat feature, you assign all intellectual property rights in your messages to My Projector. Alternatively, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your Chat Content for any purpose related to our business. You may not copy, reproduce, screenshot, record, distribute, or share Chat Content, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. This includes posting Chat Content on third-party platforms such as review sites, social media, or forums. All other content on our website, including text, images, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to My Projector and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not use our content without permission.
Confidentiality of Chat Content
Chat Content is confidential and proprietary to My Projector. You agree to treat all Chat Content as private and not disclose it to third parties without our written consent. Taking screenshots, recording, or otherwise capturing Chat Content is strictly prohibited. Any unauthorised disclosure or sharing of Chat Content, including via screenshots, violates these Terms and may result in legal action.
Use of Chat Feature
Our chat feature is provided to assist you with inquiries about our products, and other services. We may ask questions to ensure our products meet your needs, and you agree to provide accurate information. You agree to use the chat feature in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. Any misuse, including sharing Chat Content without permission, may result in termination of your access to our services.
Breach of Terms
If you breach these Terms, including by taking or sharing screenshots of Chat Content, we reserve the right to terminate your access to our website and services, seek legal remedies, and pursue damages for any harm caused, including reputational or financial loss.
